Greetings!
My name is Nalei Chen. I'm a Clinical Assistant Professor of NYU Liberal Studies. My research interests lie at social and political philosophy, and I focus primarily on early Chinese philosophy. I have just finished my dissertation, which centers on the comparative study of Han Feizi’s philosophy and modern political realism. I was born and raised in a rural village in Guangdong, China. I received my Ph.D. in Philosophy from the University of Utah in 2022, my M.A. in Philosophy from Fudan University in 2016, and my B.A. in Logic from Sun Yat-sen University in 2013. When I am not doing philosophy, I enjoy cooking, watching movies, and playing basketball. |
